| There's several methods that work well. If you do a search you'll find a number of posts. The easiest for me for plumeria seeds is to soak them in water overnight then plant in a tray of moistened soil. I just put the seed head under the soil and allow the wing to sick up. I cover the trays and keep them warm. The seeds usually germinate in about a week. The baggie method also works well and if you are really industrious you can make little "floats" and set them in a tray of water. I also soak adenium seeds, place them lengthwise in the container and just barely cover them with soil. I cover the container and keep it somewhere warm. I don't usually use bottom heat for either because I use shallow trays and they get too hot but if your containers are deep(4" +) bottom heat will help. The adenium seeds also sprout within a week or two. Adenium seeds don't remain viable for that long and should be planted ASAP. I transplant into individual containers when I see the first set of true leaves. Good luck with your seeds. |
