Black tip after frost

So I was out of town for two months and wasn't expecting my plumerias to survive, but somehow they have - through occasional sub 32 degree weather. All the leaves have wilted and the tips have turned black, but the trunks appear as though they are in hibernation (not dried out, wilted, losing their center) and are still a healthy greenish brown.

I brought them in and placed them in a corner of the garage to (hopefully) continuing hibernating.

My question is do I need to treat the black tip? It's not fungus, it's definitely due to the cold. Should I cut it back or just let it be until spring?
