Aloha all, With alot of anticipation of new plumeria/cuttings/transplanting going on very zoo in the up coming months...does anyone know if there is a problem with putting another plumeria where and old one has been? In other words, if some of the roots remain in the pot/ground...is it tainted? I used to have 250 roses at our other house and knew this was a problem...you needed to get rid of as many roots as possible AND replace the soil if you were serious about the "NEW" rose taking off....I have quite a juggling going on this spring and would love insight on this so I can plan ahead...Aloha and Mahalo Nui Loa, roxanne

I have not had a problem if there was still some root material left. Try to loosen the soil as much as u can and remove the big pieces of root. Of course this is assuming the previous plant was not diseased or rotting.
