Cuttings - part 2

Yours truly hit submit message a bit prematurely.

Anyway, I'm ready now to get rid of some of these cuttings.

I do have an outlet for my cuttings (I trade them to a
nursery for tomato starts), but there's plenty of them. Around
40 of one and a total of 29 others. More than enough so I
can give a bunch away.

Email me through the forum and we'll see what we can work out.
It will probably mean you sending me a box or mailing tube and
I'll see what will fit.

If you're in SoCal (Los Angeles area), let me know and you
can come here and get some huge cuttings.

I also have a few all packaged up and ready to
go. But they're big and I'm not sure what the postage will be.
I think they're all under 2 lbs. But they're really big ones (16 to 22 in).

Please note that I will not get a box for you. I am not
a business. Sorry, but that's the way it is.

I do have a PayPal account so you could send postage (and any
other 'thank you' payment you'd care to make through them.

Of course, you probably want to know what they look like,
so here's pictures and numbers. None of them are positively
ID'd, but the first one could be Via Verde, or as a couple
of folks here call it, Thomas's Beauty.

Most of them are this one. I've lots of small ones that
would only need a small package.

Then there's this one - Number 2.

Number 3

Number 4

Number 5

Number 6

Number 7

Number 8

Number 9

Number 10

qaguy, I'd definitely be interested in a large cutting or two, and I'm in Southern CA. You have some amazing ones!

Tempting but I cannot for two reasons, I kill cuttings and I have no space. But your flowers are gorgeous! I want to soooo badly but I must resist the temptation.

QA, Would it be possible to drop off cuttings at a Fedex kinkos or UPS store for packaging/shipping versus sending you shipping materials? I don't know how easy that would be but I thought I would offer it up.

It really falls under the 'I will not find a box for you' rule I am
    using.

I'd have to make multiple trips since I don't know how much
that would cost and how much you're willing to pay.

I'm retired and under a fixed income. I don't want to have to
put out my own money up front for the costs.

    Sorry.

The intent of my suggestion was to find a way the shipper (you) could drop off the cuttings and the recipient could cover the packaging and shipping charges with the box store by phone or online. Just offering a suggestion to help simplify for anyone interested.

I would love some cuttings. How much for shipping the ones you have boxed to AZ? Or if you could hold for pick up I will be in SoCal next month. Thanks.

desertplumeriasaz - send me an email through GW.
I won't be doing the final disposal until April.
Next month would be fine to stop by.

Thank you so much for the cuttings! It was really nice to meet you. I lost some plumeria due to the recent cold snap so this is a major consolation! Like Matt, I just can't wait to see them root and grow!

    Hi,

I would love some cutting too. I sent an email through GW before you posted the cuttings thread, after you posted the pruning pics. Not sure you got it. Let's try again.

I live in Austin, TX and would like to make the process as simple for you as possible.

Pebbles - your ID is set up in GW so I cannot respond
to your emails. I have no way to contact you.

Either change your GW settings or send me another email
through GW with your email address.

Look at all the great blooms! More happy people in the making. I wonder how long it's going to take before I can get cuttings off mine. :( Peg

Thanks all. I feel really good when I see all the happy
folks picking up their cuttings. I especially like to see their
eyes bug out when they see the size of the cuttings!

No more to give away until next year, I'm afraid.

Oh man, I must have not contacted you in time Qaguy. That's ok. I still have been getting plumeria here and there. Recently I had a woman from another forum actually buy me a 9 tip celadine cutting from Derrick Martin, and then her gifted me 2 of his mystery cuttings and a very nice candle that he made.

Wow! Gorgeous plumerias!! Where exactly are you located? I am close to LA, Socal too.
    Thank you in advance.

Forgot to say: I want to start a Plumeria garden around 1-2 Sagos. These 2 are my only favorite (or my very favorite) plants ever.
