psycho comes up short

My large white Gardena (aka psycho) had twelve flowers left on it yesterday and today all twelve fell off. It was just 2 days short of its record of Feb.16 and I thought it would eclipse that date this year because of the summer like winter we have had in California this year but one little chilly wind crept in and spoiled the record breaking run. It still has hundreds of leaves while most of my other plants are bare but all the flowers fell off. Nice try.

Gotta give her a big fat A for effort! I wonder just how many
plants can claim her as their mother or grandmother or greatgrandma etc????

Hi Bill,

How about that!! Valentine's Day and Psycho still had a "dozen" flowers left... That is pretty special if you ask me!! I know you were trying for a record, but i'm sure Psycho still has something up her sleeve!!! At least you still have a huge tree in your front yard full of leaves!!

That is worth smiling about!!!

Still wearing flip flops? : )

Hope you and S had a wonderful Valentine's Day!!

Now you have me thinking of shorts, open toed shoes.. ahhh... summer!

Cant wait!!!

Laura

I agree.. i'll give Psycho an "A" as well!!!

From her family from the East coast to the West coast!!
She certainly does have many little ones all over!!! : )

Plucrazy, what city, state are you in?
Laura- I hate to rub it in but we had basically no winter this year. I wore long pants and shoes three days. Next week it is going into the 80's. My plants are very confused. On the other hand we have had almost no rain so this could be a problem by summer. Are you coming for the garden show this year? Let me know if so and I will get Bud and John and some others to visit and can set up some other visits too. Say Hi to B. from us.

Hi Bill, WOW !!! what a record for a very pretty tree. That would be hard to beat. I think most of us are having a warm winter this year. I like not paying the heating bills. It's probably going to be bad summer for bugs. Peg
