Immature Plumeria Seeds?

Hi I am in a zone 9a so I left 4 pods of seeds on a Cerise plumeria in the greenhouse over the winter. They are big and fat. I touched one of the pods today that had begun to split and it fell off of the plant. Upon opening (was I supposed to do that yet? lol) the seeds look very plump but white. I have ordered and grown seeds before but they never were white. So I'm guessing these seeds are immature? Will they still germinate? Thanks
