I always let my cuttings get rooted very well before I try to pot them up.

I think it depends where you are located, but, when I did the baggie method, I potted them all up in late March and they took off.... roxanne

Well I'm in Massachusetts but I have a greenhouse.....so weather really isn't an issue. And Moonie, I can see large white roots but its hard to judge when they're well rooted.....I've always heard with Plumeria "if you're in doubt leave it alone".....I should probably do just that.

Why don't you pot up a small handful of them and see how they fare?

I read your other post about the bag rooted cuttings and I would say that it would depend on how well the root mass is on the cuttings. I like to see plenty of roots before I pot up, but that's just me because I like to know they are well established and then if there is any breakage, it wouldn't be a problem.

You mentioned that you had a few rooting, so you could always do as DisneyHorse mentioned and test a few.

If you only see a few roots, then I would wait until you see a mass of roots. That is my opinion. I'm sure you would be very gentle when you pot up, but they are in the process of taking off right now..

Im Sure others will give their opinion on what they like to do!!!

Hi! I always wait until there is a good netting of roots and not just a few threads of them here and there, and I wait until leaves actually are opening and not just claws. If there is a good supporting system of roots then it won't matter if the soil or medium falls off of them when you take the bag off, they will stay intact. Sometimes if you disturb the medium when there are only a few roots, they break off.
