Potted an unrooted cutting... Should I seal the tips?

I bought this cutting (Paul Weissich) couple weeks ago and the tips looked ok- but I'm noticing some separation - should I seal the tips with DAP?

I know yours is a cutting and not black tip situation, but when I cut off the three tips from my Waimea plant and sealed it up with Dap like Bill said. Shortly after that three tips sprouted from each branch that I cut and sealed! So I went from 3 to 9 in a relatively short time! So cool. 😊

Well.... I think I might have to cut first and let it dry out before sealing. It's raining as we speak so I think it would be a better idea since there may be water entering the small space - am I correct? :)
