Hi Annamaria, I have never water rooted a cutting but do know some who have. They said the water roots have trouble when put it into soil so they suggested to mix the soil in slowly making a thin mud and slowly adding more soil over time until it becomes the regular soil. That way the roots can adjust and grow to support the plant. Maybe some with experience will chime in with more help. Good luck and 'congrats'. Peg
