brown leaf tip

I have had this plant since last September. It is the same one that I posted about another leaf tip being knocked off a week ago, so these tips are very precious to me. Yesterday, I noticed that one of the 2 green tips is turning brown. Today it is definitely dying. What happened? I haven't changed anything regarding this plant since I potted it up back in September.

The other leaf is starting to unfurl and I really would like to keep it, so I would appreciate any help regarding this.

Its really hard to say from those pictures. Could there be some spider mite activity? Its also potential that it's being watered too much. Any chance you can get it outside in the sun?

No spider mites, and I'd LOVE to get it out in the sun, that is... when we get to see the sun! It was out all day yesterday but I didn't put it out because it was cool last night. Today it is raining once again, after having a week of rain last week. UGH!

Like K mentioned, water could very well be the culprit, especially if you're not getting much sun. Is your soil and pot well draining?
