Everyone expects to see great stuff when visiting someone's garden. Sometimes the little joys in life (for me, anyway) are coming across unexpected things in odd places. Below is a plumeria growing out of a planter over the sidewalk at a Chinese restaurant here in St. Petersburg.

Does it look like an Aztec Gold to you guys? I know it could be anything but it definitely has good genes. It was completely defoliated at the beginning of spring and now look! While it might be under the care of a master gardener, it seems more likely that it is just making the best of things! I am wondering if they will sell me a cutting along with my entree...

Wow...great shots. Talk about going off at this time in the season. One can almost smell the fragrance from the blooms. Thanks for sharing.
