Personally, I wouldn't recommend it...simply because plumeria love the sun. Lots of it. I have even kept them under grow lights and even that is only for the winter and not ideal. I do not think a plumeria can survive under only a flourescent light - they are not giving the plant enough of a full spectrum to keep it healthy. Even being grown indoors by a sunny window is not usually great. Seedlings are a lot of fun, I grow a lot of them myself, but if you want the best for it I would say an office is not a good place for it.

Thanks elucas101, thats what I was expecting to hear. I guess I was just hoping someone would say that it worked for them so I could try it. I appreciate your response.

Perhaps a lovely African violet, mine do fine on my desk under that light, so does an ivy. But plumeria, not enough light. My co-worker has a dying rose under her light, I think I will steal it on my way home tonight and rescue it.
