Is there hope?

We have a plumeria that is about 10 years old. Has done really well the past few years. This past December, the few cold nights that we had ruined it. Well at least the tips. We cut them as far down as needed, the trunk and limbs are really strong and firm still. But we need help. Will it thrive or is it a lost cause? We are not sure how to care for it at this point. Do we water it? Should it be in the sun? Any advice or instructions would be appreciated. Please help us!

If you cut down to clean wood and had white latex.. Then it should be fine. Seal those cuts and wait for side branching.. I see you are in a zone 9.. Keep it from being sunburned, but let it get the heat and some dappled sun. Water as you normally would wet/ dry. You should see some growth in a few weeks from the old leaf nodes..
