Ever amazed...

By any stretch, I am not an expert re: these plants...but how 'bout this. These are cuttings that were removed last November and sat soiless in our laundry room thru the Winter. Top is Aztec Gold, bottom two are Celadine. Please notice that they are producing leaves. Is this normal? Initial plan was to give them away way back when, but now, I MUST pot them up and add to my very small collection. Have 2 AG's outside that are quite large, and a bear to bring in when the cool temps hit......one, initially from a cutting and the other, a cutting from that guy. Looking to try the red varieties, but just can't bring myself to let these guys go. Maybe it's typical...but, I was shocked to see leaves sprouting from the AG cutting after all this time sitting on a desk on its side...
