The adverse effects of movement while rooting

Both of these cuttings were very scrawny. The near cutting was planted on 7/21/2012 and the other on 8/9/2012. I was moving them in and out of the house because of cold fronts coming through. They showed no sign of life at all during this movement. Finally around the last week of April I set them out and haven't moved them at all since then. The growth has occurred during that 4 week period, and most of it during the last week.

Not to discount your observation but I would say that the first reason for signs of growth is simply that it was the natural time for plumeria to wake up. Late summer and fall are not the best time to try and root.

Not moving/handling rooters is the hardest Plumeria Rule to follow. its nice to see them taking off.
