I love this flower! As for the "stripey-ness", maybe it will exhibit more of the color you expect in the heat of the summer? Just a thought.

Hi Dave,
Laura and I were just talking about this...kind of ironic. I was telling her how it's amazing how much heat and intense light can change the flower color. I had a Penang Peach that I bought with an inflo 2 years ago. It was around November so it was growing under my HPS light. The bulb burned out, and those flowers went from an intense coloration to yellow in a period of days.

I really think that once the inflo has a chance to be exposed to intense light/heat, the flowers will color up beautifully! Good luck! You all ready have an amazing plumeria there.

Hmm, hadn't thought of the heat being that much in control. Makes sense though. It hasn't been really warm since it started blooming so we'll see. Either way, I love it and will enjoy all the blooms I can.

Very nice. I have not seen that kind of color in my candy stripe. I think the first time it bloomed it was way off in color with a lot more red than stripe and then it matured into a traditional candy stripe. Its even prone to six petal flowers.
