I'm new here, but not to growing plumeria.
My experience with growing plumeria of the bright reds, usually take longer to root than white pink or yellows. I would give it more time and be patient. I would also let the folks at Florida Colors know of your concern, as I'm sure they will work with you if the cutting fails to root.

Thanks, I called Carol as you recomended, and she said she has plants from time to time that do that. If it doesn't do anything in the next 2 weeks, she will send me a replacement. I am so glad I called, thanks for posting. Barbra

Barbra, I think you're right to worry. I have a two-tip grafted Leona from FCN and it's been leafed out--a dozen leaves per tip--and adding tip length for a couple of months now. I've found it to be a very vigorous grower, with morning and midday sun.

Jen, that is how all the other plants look. This plant was one of the very few that I received with only one tip, it has not even gotten claws yet. I just could not figure out what was wrong. Carol said that it happens from time to time. I guess I have always been lucky. Jen, the kimo cutting I got in April from John in Corpus, not only has leaves but also has a bloom coming out. I can't believe its been only 4 weeks, and it is doing so well. I need your address so I can mail you the seeds from Gladys O'Neal. I have them in an opened ziplock bag. I will not be able to bring them to the meeting, since I still cannot drive. I don't know how long the seeds can stay, they opened the fist week of April. Barbra
