| Wow! Beautiful flowers, Pat! Congrats! How did you get your cutting to flower so soon :-) The big JM "Y" center cut you sent me hasn't shown leaves yet, but I see bumps (maybe the leaves will come out of those bumps). But the Sariah's Curly Pink cutting has pushed out 3 clumps of small leaves near the top, looks like a 4th on eis on its way. Yay! (Thank you!)That was really fast considering I potted it on 04/23/11. I think the size of the cuttings really makes the difference, as I noticed the smaller cuttings seem to take forever to show any progress.

| thanks y'all. We have had incredible heat and drought this spring. That may account for the early blooms. I'd gladly trade for cooler moist weather. 1st week of Jun broke temp records 6 of 7 days. Worste drought on record. Worse than the "Dust Bowl" times. Penang Peach is loaded with buds as is White Pinwheel. |

| But the plumies love the heat! The temperature in my area has been in the seventies, and I have a lot of inflos and some of my plants do have flowers (Sparkle, Divine, Celadine, Samoan Fluff, Pacific Pearl, Gulfstream, California Sunset, but I think I won't get spectacular colors like yours until we get more heat, which may be another month or two! |

| Hi Pat!!! Remember the potted Aztec Gold plant and cutting you gave me a few years ago (we met up at your workplace off Beltway 8...), well they are now huge and in full bloom!!! And smell wonderful!!! Thanks again!!!! P.S. Yes, it has been a VERY Hot & DRY year!!!!!!! A real scorcher!!! ~Mary Jane |

| What a great inflo! I don't think of Houston as droughty. Always seems to be just hot and humid, humid. Unusual weather, but really good to get plumies going in the Spring! My Jeannie Moragne, Jr, has an inflo. Hope it turns out as nice as yours. This variety seems to be a tall grower. Is yours? |
