That's what I thought too. But then I question myself and wonder if the reason they are not waking up is because I have not watered them. I just wish they would hurry up and let me know.

I just realized they are red... so maybe they are just more finicky.

No Clue, Florida Colors told me not to buy Lurine, Waimea, or Black tiger, they have problems with those getting black tip. It was hard especially not taking the Black Tiger I ordered. But, I listened and let them go. I do think you should start to spay just the tips of the plumeira with seaweed, or fish emulsion, it helped bring my plants out of dormancy. Barbra

In my case it's true then. Lurline is gone. My biggest of the 3 Waimea started waking up the earliest; I believe in April. I watered it once or twice then it got black tips and now lost all the claws! I am not sure if I should cut the tips or what.

Hilo Beauty finally got claws but is taking forever for the leaves to grow. I don't remember if I have Black Tiger. I just want to see a red plumeria for once. Then I will be happy.

I would lightly water or mist if you just have to do something and hold off on fertilizers. As always bottom heat helps a lot if your days are not above 85 routinely (IMO).

Sometimes if plants don't want to 'wake up' there is damage to the trunk just under the soil line from too much water in winter.

You might scrape away some of the soil around the plant base and see if the outer layer has rotted away.

That said, my smaller Hilo Beauty did take a while to wake up. My Guillot's Sunset took the longest in my collection, but is now leafing out.
