I have done this with success.. Some like to wait. But..
If you can keep them intact and try not to bother the root system, then they should be fine. Especially if you are potting up. Just be careful. How close are they to blooming? If they are ready to open, I might just enjoy the show and then pot up.. JMO

They will love the room for growth while the season is ready!!

I just repotted mine which 3 has inflos. I lost a bit of roots on desert sunrise & rhonda but they seem to be ok so far. Xquisite isn't missing a beat but yet she had some good roots..

After potting mine up my jack russell decided he wanted to investigate the egg smell in the soil and successfully turned over my celadine and MPG mystery. Of course he waited until I was in the garage putting away my soil components.

The inflo on the mystery was partially destroyed but the roots were still intact, the celadine inflo was spared but roots were mostly severed with only nubs left at the base :/ The celadine is beefy so I am hoping it will be forgiving. we shall see...
