First Musk Rainbow bloom of the season

Posted by SHhhhh FL (My Page) on

I have been watching this inflo for a few weeks, and finally my Musk Rainbow bloomed. I have had this plant for about 4 years, and it has always bloomed like crazy. We just recently moved, and I placed it in our screened pool area, and I had no inflos/blooms. Needless to say, it was not happy, and did not like the added shade from the screen. I planted it in the backyard earlier this year, and it is a lot happier. This pic was taken after it was open for 2 days.

Beautiful shot. They do love to be in the ground if your climate permits it. roxanne

One of my top favorites if not the most. I can never get enough of other growers' pics of this variety.
