Corpus Christi Botanical Garden Plumeria Grove

I thought I would post some pictures of the Plumeria Grove at the Corpus Christi botanical gardens from a weekend beach trip during mid May. It was an enjoyable mid afternoon activity and If you are in the area and have a couple of hours its worth it. I am sure they have filled out by now.

the workers told us they were late putting them back in the ground and had a very late season frost which got some tips.

I think they leave them all year but not sure. Went there with the family last summer and it is a amazing patch of trees. Tons of different varieties and never seen so many seed pods!

well I guess I didn't read the bottom part! past my bedtime! guess the do dig them all up.. that's pretty crazy! Usually down there along the coast you can get away with leaving them out but they did have some freezes down there this year.
