how thin is this stem? how tall?

do you have it out in the sun, partial shade or indoor?

if it's healthy, it'll be rootbound by now and will be ready for a 3-5 gallon pot with well draining potting mix.

Thank you, "houstontexas123", for being so prompt in answering my questions! The stem is 23-1/2 tall and about less than 1/2 inch thick at the top and with a few leaves on the tip. It's outdoors, it gets 6+ hours of full sun and I water it with a 20-20-20 fertilizer. I will transfer It to a 3+ size black container.

Hi Annamaria,

I would cut off the bottom 1/4 of the existing bottom soil and mke some slits on the side of the root ball and pot up into a larger black container too! I would go with three gallon container. Like Houston Texas said...well draining mix, it you do cut off some of the bottom..remember to let it rest in a semi shad area for a week or two and then bring it back out to where you normally have it. just dont lift from the stem... : ( I did tht week ago.. forgot i repotted this one.. OOPs!!

Then i would start to fert like normal....
