I thought I read somewhere that there is no advertising allowed in the forums. For me personally, I don't mind at all!! But i would hate for you to get somehow banned from using GardenWeb because of your advertising. They probably have 'bots' that search out keywords in messages to find out who is selling and undermining their paying advertisers. Who knows?

Perhaps we can help you come up with a more subtle and discreet way for you to get word out about your plant availability.

How about including a link at the bottom of your messages that points to your website (if you have one).

Or usually word of mouth is the best advertiser. For example, someone who bought from you can post about their great experience and also link to your website.

Just trying to help and not criticize! I think some people have been reprimanded in the past. I'd hate for it to happen again!

Just put your email at the bottom and have people contact you outside of the forum?

If you need a free way to put stuff up on the web, you could always set up a blog (I think Blogger.com is the easiest platform to use). Then you can just make a new post for the plants you currently have for sale (per plant, or list even on a weekly/monthly basis). You can edit the posts once the plants have sold.

Then someone here posts about how awesome your plants and blog are - et voila!

Thanks for the tip..I'll give it a try however I've never blogged before.

it`s supereasy, you can try any of the blogging websites, Google has one.
My only problem with a blog is remembering to blog!
