2008 eBay Purchase ( Maui's Mango Magic )

I wanted to share a photo of an eBay purchase from 2008 I bid and won and now is a beautiful tree. I was just starting out at the time and had fun adding new items to my collection. Little did I know of PSA and the importance of registered plumeria names. The seller was a lady by the name of Evelyn as I remember and she called this one Maui's Mango Magic.

So here are the photos, we had rain tonight so it's a night shot. I'd love to know if this is "Truly" a real name for this cultivar?

Yes, well.....it's a keeper cause it's in the ground!
Fragrance is sweet and fruity, It's a tall grower with very straight but thin branching. I wish I could find out if the name is true?

Whether it is or not the correct name, that is a beautiful plumeria. You might want to take a bloom down to Hetty at the Naples Botanical Garden and ask her. She may be able to tell you if that is the name or not.

I have "Mango Magic", a cultivar from Australia, but have never heard of "Maui's Mango Magic"... sounds like a name that seller just came up with, but I could be wrong.
