its the singapore obtusa you "gifted" to me in when we first met in 2010. Needless to say there were points in time where the gift was considered more of a practical joke than anything else.

Some tips made it through the dreaded spring black tip and produced a nice inflo. if you were to look at the shape of the plant it would definately be knobby and ugly. But if you just look at the blooms and the dark green leaves and the fragrance I can understand why so many of us have said "ok...next year I will try __(fill in the blank)___ so it doesn't black tip again."

LOL, practical joke it was not! I was hoping that it would do well under the right person's care and it has! You do seem to like a challenge :)
