Thats the beauty of seedlings. you wont know until they flower. Mostly likely they will be very similar to the pod plant unless they happened to be pollinated by a very colorful plant.

Mike's right, they'll most likely look like the pod parent, but who knows? Makes it exciting!

Seedlings are usually 3-5 years to bloom, but it could be longer. If you're very lucky it could be 2-3 years.

We're up to 6 seedlings and counting and the first 2 have their first set of two true leaves with the other four looking strong and healthy. It is such great fun to see the seeds sprouting. For what it's worth, I found this pod months ago and waited forever to sow the seeds. I thought they probably wouldn't still be viable as they'd simply been stuck in my garage, but we've got at least 6 and to me that's pretty great.

I'm stalking my pink Plumeria (no idea what specific pink it is, just know that I love it) for seeds. I just adore the flowers on it and it's got great potential to cross with the same plant that gave me this seed pod. What fun it would be to see what babies they made ;) !
