Diana,

I suggest you look up the meaning of a cultivar. C-Stars sticks a name on their plants just for marketing purposes.

From Wiki:'A cultivar is a cultivated plant that has been selected and given a unique name because of its decorative or useful characteristics; it is usually distinct from similar plants and when propagated it retains those characteristics.

The naming of a cultivar should conform to the International Code of Nomenclature for Cultivated Plants (the ICNCP, commonly known as the Cultivated Plant Code). For this, it must be distinct from other cultivars and it must be possible to propagate it reliably, in the manner prescribed for that particular cultivar, ether by sexual or asexual means.'

Just a suggestion to help eliminate the continuing mass confusion in the plumeria biz.

Here is a link that might be useful: Wiki

Hi Diana,
I am not familiar with these varieties from C-Stars Nursery, new ones...They sometimes just give new names to plants..may be another well known variety. I bought Rainbow star, a new one, a beauty, found it listed with the plumeria society, but will not open beautiful rainbow, buds just fall off..they do not seem to have a website to see their plants, sold at different nurseries. They also list Princess..is Princess victoria..
