Kimo Seeds planted Wing Tips Up?

As stated in the "Growing Plumeria in Hawaii and around the world" book by Jim Little, germination takes place in 12 to 14 days.

Well here's what 12 days looks like.

Everything I've read stated to plant with "Wing Tips Up"

However, Jim Little states in his book that it's ok to not stand the seeds upright that the seeds turn towards the light when they germinate.

Not all of mine have germinated as yet?

Here's a photo journal of my seeds planted and germinating.

Seeds collected May 28th

Seeds arrived in the mail as a bonus with cuttings on June 10th 2012

Planting in seed production trays using a cactus palm mix soil.

Press seed into the soil leaving the wing tip up.

Keep moist and water before it becomes too dry.

Germination will follow in about 2 weeks.

My seeds collected in the coffee cup are also Kimo.

All wing tips up!

Watered in well and now we wait for germination to take place.

36 planted in all let's see how they will do?

Planted June 9th 2012

Soil today shows signs of drying out.

Seed husks are drying on the new growth so I watered them.

Hot day today mid 90's.

Seeds kept in shade.

Not all of the seeds have germinated but I hope they do?
