Have seen my Aztec Gold bloom many times over the years, and a NOID as well last year (also primarily yellow). Well, a cutting from a tree in SW Florida that I've had for some years now is finally blooming. Unfortunately, the flowers are dropping before they fully open. Seem to appear very much like the ones depicted at the heading to this forum. I would describe the smell as similar to a citrus blossom. Mainly white, with a spreading yellow from the center. Any ideas as to what it may be. Would post a pic, but again, the limited number appearing fall off just before opening.
Also...want to try a multi-colored variety for my next plant. Love these yellow flowers, but want to change things up a bit. Any suggestions for a variety that has more than just yellow and white, with the important scent...and...stays relatively small.
