Hey Andrew. Triple digit heat for us here. All the oils are for the most part a contact oil meaning they suffocate the mites and other bugs. they also penetrate the eggs and mess them up. They also deter bugs from eating/sucking the plants. that being said applying the oils for preventative is a good idea. I usually spray my plants every 2 weeks during winter.

Is neem oil as good as the horticultural oil? I already have neem oil and I don't want to get another one too. Is it working preventive too? If so, I should maybe spray them all once a month maybe.
