It's been hot here in so cal...

I think the Tai Surprise I picked up at JJ's likes the heat we've been have having here in Southern California lately. At least the flowers anyway... I find myself misting the plants several times a day while misting the seeds to try and add some humidity to the heat, and you can see the difference in what just a couple days makes. The colors are more vivid..

The older leaves on that plant have been cooked but I'm trying to let the plant get used to the heat and it seems the new leaves are indeed more tolerant.

Looking great Bob, but I have to disagree about it being hot. I live in Costa Mesa and we still have been under fog and cool. I guess within several miles of the ocean has not found the heat yet. Hoping for next week. Bill

Good looking flower Bob!! Love the colors. Wish it was a lot warmer here where I'm at ;(. Like Bill says- its been mainly foggy and not warm enough. And I'm in San Juan Capistrano. Pretty foggy today too and hoping for a warmer week to come.
