I wonder too. Notorious 6 petal producers for me are many of the Thorntons and JL Candystripe. Not as pretty are the 4 petal blooms.

Wait..they can produce 4 petals as well? Pics or it never happened! ;)

Robert, how's the smell on Dwarf Deciduous?

Jen,

DD's scent is sort of a citrus/soap scent.
Is it my fav for scent? Probably not...at least now that I've got all these others to sniff and compare it to. :)
Also sometimes it can smell strong and sometimes light.
For now I'd rather stick my nose in Gold Coast Peach. ;)

Okay, Jen.
The rain knocked off my 6 petalled DD so I brought it to work to have people sniff. First they were amazed at its size (4 inches)! Twice the size of Chiang Mai Rainbow. Most said DD has the classic plumeria scent. sorta lemony floral. :)
