Here is a one tip Pu'u Kahea and 2nd inflo on a two tip Fruit Salad . PK was a gift from Barbra F. The FS was bought from German at a PSA sale in 2012 according to my tag.

Here is another look at five blooming plants relatively close together.
Front row: Gulfstream x2, Japanese Lantern,
Back row: Aussie Confetti x2, Pu'u Kahea, and Fruit salad

Dwarf Singapore Pink. If you only have a balcony or courtyard this should be the one plant you treat yourself to.

Tornado Seedling 1st bloom season. A gift from jandy.

Close up of Kona Candy. This one is a favorite of my girls and still small so it's usually picked clean every couple of days. Otherwise it might have a fairly large inflo.

Mardi Gras Seedling. Another gift from Jandy. It has a very light sweet scent, yellow throat, and white "veins". The flowers fade to a light pink edge.

and last but not least a just starting TMG

WOW! very nice and healthy looking flowers. I have not had any of my oranges ones bloom yet this year. There are so many different flowers and they are so beautiful. I would be taking a million pictures. Thanks for sharing, barb

p.s. Now I will be looking for some of these next spring. :)

Fantastic collection, K! It's a nice assortment of shapes and colors.

Love the seedlings' blooms, too, especially Tornado! That makes two Tornado and three MG seedlings that have bloomed in the past couple seasons--not bad.

If Kona candy smells as good as they say I'm not surprised your girls pick it clean :). Still waiting on mine to reach a foot high, lol.

Thank you everyone. Many of my techniques have been learned and honed with all of you.

J - what do the other seedlings look like? I am going to keep these two and let them mature to see if the blooms hold true.

San Miguel and Duke should open this week.

K, I was thinking you have two seedlings that need names and two girls with names :)

One MG just opened at my friend's and it's just light pink. I'm waiting on another one here which will take another ohcomeonalready to open. Barbra said her Tornado was just so-so and it died last winter anyway. And my Tornado that looked so promising last summer dropped every one of its dozens of buds.

Yours are both pretty and unique so you came out way ahead. Let me know when either one needs pruning in four or five years, 'k?
