Hi Bear, Until someone with more experience jumps in I had cuttings that I got in Nov. in FL and stored them until Feb. to set up for rooting in VA. I was going to wait until at least March but a couple of them got soft spots so decided to start them then. I only lost the 2 (out of 7) that had the soft spots. 3 weeks should be no problem at all but it is harder to root cuttings in the fall than it is in spring. At least that has been my experience but have done them in fall successfully. Good luck, Peg

I recall someone on here recently mentioned they had stored cuttings in their garage over the winter and I think some, if not all, rooted.

If the cuttings are fresh they will be fine, just keep them in the car with you and cool or pack them in thermal packing. Usually if stored properly cuttings that are a year old have rooted, but heat is a major factor. So pack them thermal packing and keep them cool.

Humidity is a factor as well. If you store them in very low humidity, they won't probably last as long.

Thanks for all the help, I will pack the with care and keep them cool. they should be ok I'm cutting my trip short so I'll be on the road for only a week or so.
