Does anyone want to venture a guess?

So my sister went to visit a friend and noticed that she has a 15 feet tall and equally wide Plumeria tree. She said it's deep red with a yellow center but her iPhone just can't seem to capture the color properly.

{{gwi:1202887}}To my novice eyes they look a lot like Waimea!

Anyway, she came home with two cuttings one for each of us.

Cuttings are large one at 16" and the other 24".

So what do you all think? It would be funny if it is a Waimea! I already have 3. But hey now I know my family is trained to look out for plumeria for me. LOL.

Hi Lynn! How is your summer going? Fall is almost here. At one time it was my fav time of year. Not anymore. Too hot and dry, typically. (although we had a 1/2" of rain last night :)

That is a gorgeous flower! What did your sister have to say about the fragrance?

I only have 1 waimea and so I went out to compare leafs. My waimea leaves appear to have more of an acuminate tip than those in your photos. Did you compare it to yours?

I know you hate to root cuttings. Do I need to take it off your hands and spare you the misery? lol

Hi Mona!

How are you honey? I hope you are having a great summer! I have been so busy. Now that the kids are back in school I have a little more time.

I can't tell by the foliage. Oh well, it will be good practice for me. Ok next time I will remember to get an extra cutting for you.
