Sorry George...a friend brought me a tree from Green Thumb because she new I loved Plumerias...Guess What...a 3 tipped 2 infloed Japanese Lantern. They have not opened up yet but looks really good! Does anyone out there have pro/con on this one or photos? I looked up a few shots and was looking for more insight. Appreciate it...mahalos, roxanne

Hi roxanne - I really like my Japanese Lantern plumeria. It has bloomed the last two years, but hasn't branched. I will attach a photo from last year. I love the pendulous inflo it produces. The flowers are long lasting. I will have to check on the scent for you tonight. ;-)

Just went outside to see. I would agree that its a lighter scent but when you get a larger plant with many inflos I am sure it will be quite noticeable.
