White Spots

Hi All,

I recently bought my first plumeria. I've kept it outside the whole time and I'm seeing tiny white spots at the top among the leaves.

Is this an insect? I did spray with an insecticidal spray but the spots are still there.

Hi Nancy,

Can you post pics? I've noticed that sometimes my plumies drip sap which is white at the tips of the leaves. Are you sure they're spots that don't rub off?

I have rarely seen mealy bugs on mine, but if you rub at them they will come off. Insecticidal soap has little effect on them, I use rubbing alcohol and a qtip to get rid of them.

Is the plant otherwise healthy looking?
