Late inflo... What do I do?

Last month I purchased an awesome Aztec Gold and it really seems to like me. It has opened 6 leaves now and a new one is opening. I have recently discovered that it is producing an inflo this late into the season. I have also bought a grow light and heat mat for winter. When the weather starts to turn too cold for my plant, could I possibly get the inflo to grow under the light and the mat? Or could the plumeria go dormant and then in Spring start growing from where it was with the inflo? So far the inflo is just very small - you really have to get close to see it. I just started growing plumerias this year and I would really love to have some flowers...
