A third bloom has opened, the center looks slightly different then the other blooms [more grainy]. Also I noticed the the blooms turn a lavender color as they age / fade.

Sad news... had to lop off about 1- 1 1/2 foot of this due to rot while it was dormant. Don't understand this happening as it did fine last year with no problem. I hope what I have left of it will make it . *crosses fingers*

Oh, no! Sorry you had to do that, but I hope it bounces back for you.

I also had several rotted tips very early this season, from plants that were totally fine all winter last year. Bummer :(
