You are so lucky to have them bloom so early. My 2005s did not have the first one bloom till 5 years ago and still waiting on more of them. It takes 3 years I read for them to develop what they will really look/smell like. roxanne

Here is my seeding plumeria. I bought two plants from a vendor at a farmers market since 2006. I threw one of them away a few weeks ago because of stem rotted. I haven't seen any flowers or any sign of an inflo, yet. This one keeps growing taller and taller and the leaf stay the same size (very small). In the moment, I only hope that I can keep this one alive with hoping that it will bloom some day!

Here is another picture of the same plant that I just posted. The base of the trunk cracked. I'm not sure whether I should fill the soil up to cover the cracked part or should I leave it like this??? Can someone, please, suggest?

What a beautiful seedling! I would defiantly keep that one. I myself am awaiting for my 2 year old seedling inflo's buds to open. Right now they are around 1 inch long -- possibly a dark pink or red -- who knows! I just wish it would hurry up, its like waiting for Christmas presents as a child.

Thanks everyone! I have 3 other seedlings that are the same age (from the same seed pod) and two of them had inflos that started strong, but fell off right before blooming. The 4th one also has its first info, so I am hoping this one opens up.

The plumeria on the right is the flower pictured above, and the one of the left threw it's info off. They are about 2 feet tall:

That is about the height of my 2 year old seedling that is trying to bloom - notching in at exactly 24 inches / 2 feet. I wasn't aware at how tall it was until I brought it in last night to put under a grow light -- comes right up to my hips / waist. Boy did it grow like a weed this spring / summer!

Makes you proud that something you planted and grew from a small seed has grown to flourish and bless you with beautiful flowers, does it not?

Nice to see the flowers more opened up. That's a rather unique form and nice color!

I love the shape of the petals -- how they have pointed ends but curl / overlap in the center. Beautiful! :)
