i would just stick it back in the pot. Only reason to re-cut is if the old cut is rotting. Are there any signs of root nubs around the cut?

Thanks for getting back to me Mike. No there weren't really any nubs coming off of it. I will put it back in the pot and see what happens. I really thought there would be a few roots cause of the leaf growth. Should I redip in rooting solution and water or just stick her back in there?

See this rooting business is so confusing to me. After trying to root mine for a year with nothing up top (barely any claws) I took it out of the bottle only to find that I got roots! Not a lot mind you but some. I am still waiting for some leaves. But boy it sure took its sweet time!

Thanks no clue! Hope I don't have to wait a year for mine to take. Some of mine have really taken off and some just kinda seem slow to do much. Claws openened and small leaves forming but have pretty much stayed them same for about 2 weeks.

They even look guilty, LOL! And with so many big ones I'm surprised, too, that it didn't happen sooner!

Just put it right back in the mix and leave it. This time of year is slower to root than spring, so don't get discouraged. Sometimes in fall rooting you wait all winter and the cutting won't make any progress until the days start getting warmer again in the spring.
