I have it in some containers , like years ago. Seems like the perfect conditions of moisture and cool nights that give my orange rust the perfect environment to thrive.

My leaves will be cut and then I'll spray stems before I bring then in. This happened two or three years ago and it doesn't seem to hurt the trees at all. I would just spray my in ground trees if I had the rust.

Since I have to bring mine in , I'll cut first ...

I' m Not worried. It just doesn't Look nice on them. Besides, the more you move them the more the spores settle on other things. That is why I would spray the trees in ground first.

Orange mold is awful , but treatable. Its A sign of fall around my area...

Thanks. Visited a friend who has quite a few growing in the ground and they are covered with rust also. She said they get it every year at this time and there is nothing to do about it. The trees will lose their leaves.

I guess I'll skip the spraying as I think it has gone too far. We had a lot of rain, heavy rain for the past few weeks and I think it made things worse. Its a shame as some have inflos and will probably lose the blooms.
