| Hard to believe winter is coming since it is going to be 105 here in Riverside today but it is October, after all. I recently acquired several large plumeria (thanks George!) and wonder if I can put them in the ground now or should I wait until spring. We usually get several days of frost in the coldest areas of the yard spread out over isolated days in January and February. Luckily our soil is fast draining red sand so drainage is not a problem. Can the roots respond to being planted in the ground this late in the growing cycle? |

| You're welcome! I came home with some, too (we were both at the Island Plumeria sale). It's a cool 99 in Simi Valley, today. I was going to hold my trees that are going in-ground until the Spring, but I'm curious what people suggest. |

| I`m debating planting a couple that are really pot bound. I will probably stick them in the ground next week when I am off and it`s back in the upper 80`s and the humidity returns. Today it was 64!!! when we got up, way too cold for me. Tally Ho! |
