RE: Why are a few of my leaves looking weird?

I don't worry about leaves at this time of the year. They are all coming off soon. I see some of that when my plants are stressed by wierd changes in weather in the fall. I do not know the cause but I just pick them off is I don't like their looks.

The last photo is one of the oddest things I've seen! It looks like a little mini-me leaf growing off of the big leaf! It even looks like the mini-me leaf replicates the vein pattern in the big leaf.

Mother nature can do some odd things sometimes.

I would say its fairly routine for most of my plants to have leaf stress during summer season. It seemed that 1 leaf in every 20 leaves had some sort of deformation. Nobody ever looked at my leaves anyways.

My reading suggested transplanting, weather, nutrients, energy used for flower production, sunlight changes, are all potential variables. I dont remember reading anything about pests or insects causing this.

I just left them alone and soon enough the lawn mower will shreddem up.
