Second picture of possible Seed Pod growing?

I found the MACRO setting on my phone for closeup pics.

Others that look interesting. This one has a green growth in the middle.

This one has a brown growth rather than the green or is it a green one dying?

The green/brown growth that you referred to is called the stigma, aka female reproductive part. Generally the ovary will turn brown when pollination took. From the first few pics, it appears there are seedpods forming but it is too early to tell as they can abort. You can celebrate when they grow about an inch or 2 in length. The pedicel will grow thicker to support the pods too.

Thank you for the reply. Hmmmm, not going to count on it maturing since it will be coming inside very soon.

I've had seedpods maturing indoors over the winter when the plant was dormant. As long as the plant is not stressed, your odds of having seeds next spring are good.

I agree with Kenny. too soon to tell for sure but it looks promising. Hopefully you can celebrate your seedpod opening in July of 2015.
