plumeria plant in okc

I found a plumeria plant for sale at an Asian market today. It seems like a very well branched tree. The leaves remained are very dark green and shiny. The price tag reads $99.99. I'm almost tempted to grab it but there is no description about cultivar.

I told my mom about it and she wonders if the owner is selling just this one to test the demand around here. If they can sell it, maybe they'll get more? I'm just surprised they can get one at this time of year. Especially when the lows are in the 30s now. You never know what you'll find in an Asian market.

I'll keep an eye on it for the next couple of weeks to see if it's still around. I might talk to the owner to find out more about it, then decide if I should get it or not ;)

I think that's the same market where I picked up my Grand Duke Supreme Jasmine! A hundred sounds pricey for an unknown cultivar. Too bad it's not blooming and you could see what the flowers look like!

Its a good size little tree! :D I agree with robert though. That does sound a bit expencive. Though ive seen ones here at nurseries that big for around the same price maybe $10 less so i guess it just depends on what it is and where you buy it from.

Yea that's a bummer the tree is not blooming. For $100, I would only buy if it's a named cultivar and not just any generic pink or white

It must be nice you can find them locally, and for that size too! Sheesh!! This is probably the first large tree I've seen here locally. Plumeria trees this size are hard to come by around here.
