Looking for source

I'm looking for a source of variegated plumerias in the US. I found one but I'm not willing to pay almost $100 for a cutting. Anyone know of a vendor selling variegated plummies here in the states? I don't want to order from Thailand but may break down & order if can't find what I want here. Thanks!

I was looking for the same thing. I keep ending up at an Ebay seller in Thailand. They have good feedback but I don't personally know anyone who has bought from them. Their prices are very reasonable. wat9228 is the Ebay name Lilathai Garden is the store name.

What I would also wonder is if anyone here even has one and how they got it?

I tried to do the same thing as you beachplant, and I never got mine from 2 different e-bayers...Both for Thailand..

So I gave up..

I do know that the variegated grown more for their leaf beauty than flower, since they are stingy on the flowering side..

If you find a source, I please share..:-)

Buried treasure has them. Maya and Daeng Marble $44.95 each. He has great stuff, ships quickly and does guarantee his things. I'll wait on a sale.
Thanks for the info on the Thailand vendor. I know the hoya people buy from Thailand all the time, and complain about getting the wrong plants, they take too long, the plants aren't as described, etc. So I'm reluctant to spend the money, it's the shipping that really is so high. $45 is starting to sound like a bargain and maybe the only way I get one. Maybe for my birthday next year.

The Ebay seller I mentioned is offering a 20" grafted Maya for $24 and the shipping is only $17 including the phyto cert. They have them all the time. I just wish I knew someone that has bought from them. I'll probably end up ordering from them in the spring regardless. It's not terribly expensive, even with shipping. I guess you would know soon enough if you've gotten a variegated foliage plant or not. It not like you need to wait for flowers.

Tally, let me check around down here and see what I can find. I know that I've seen them down here. It might be spring time though if that's OK. And I'm going to visit my daughter in Hawaii in the spring, so I'll check out there for you too.

Yikes,

I live here on Kauai and I don't think I've seen any varigated plumeria varieties here - and I've been scouring the island looking for cuttings of different colors to plant in my yard. But maybe I haven't seen them because I never thought to look for varigated leaves. If anybody has them here please let me know.

Aloha, Mark

Variegrated plumerias... sounds pretty awesome!

I look for them every once in a while, but dont like buying from countries too far away because what happens if they accidentally ship the wrong plant, or if it doesnt make it through customs, or worse if its a scam? Plain old green pluemeria leaves are beautiful so variegrated leaves must be no less than eye catching, especially if you can get them to flower.

I wonder how they handle sun. Plumerias usually need lots of sun and heat to flower well, but most variegrated plants will have the white sections burnt in the hot summer sun.

Snagged 2!! Got an e-mail from buried treasures, limited sale, only 47 coupons at 47% off. Couldn't get it to work, e-mailed and Gretchen gave me the discount!!! Yeah!!!! The sale was short. I buy a lot of stuff from them. Also ordered some cajun hibiscus, adeniums and a crinum. My Christmas present to myself. You had to have them shipped right now but not a problem for me.
They are rooted too. WooHoo!
