Is there a seed of Bali Whirl?

I just came across someone selling seeds of the Bali Whirl (double) plumeria. Iknow that the bali whirl is a mutant of the caledine.
I never seen seeds offered before, only cuttings and plants, I bought a plant a plant earlier this year. Does the plant grow seeds and do they become double plumeria??

| It's definitely possible for the bali whirl to produce seed pods. A friend of mine grows them in Guam. I am not sure however if seeds of that plant will actually produce true specimens from the mother plant. My guess is that much like most plumeria or adenium seeds, you're in for a surprise, it might become triple bloom ;) |

| I agree with omedusa and you may get something totally different, and you may be waiting a while to see what you have. If you want "the" bali whirl, go for the cutting or a rooted plant. Just my opinion... John |

I have never had a seed pod on mine. I heard that they have not had any variations of this flower but I don't know how valid that is. Bill
