Dashed hopes.... :(

So... My new grafted plumeria I purchased last May grew fabulously all summer. Then, in late September, decided to throw up an inflo. Seeing that the weather was turning colder, I took it to work with me so that it could enjoy the sun and warmth of the greenhouse. The inflo developed along quite nicely, and then suddenly stopped growing. A few weeks later the undeveloped flower buds began to dry up. I'm thinking the night temperature in the greenhouse might have been to blame. While the days are warm and balmy, the nights do drop down into the lower 40's. So... home it came with me, and is now down my basement with my other plumeria and all the other wintering tropicals. I have cut back on water, keeping them quite dry, but they just don't seem to want to go dormant. Is it normal for them to stay so lush and green at this time of year? Anything I need to worry about? My basement usually hovers in the mid to upper 50's during the winter. If it matters at all, the variety is Celadine.
